2009-06-02 Svalson opens up the corporate boxes for Manchester United Manchester Uniteds board of directors and other VIP guests can now open the front of their corporate box on Old Trafford with glass screens from Svalson/Meesons. To get a better live experience of Rooney, Ronaldo and the other world class footballers you simply push a button and the glass front slides away and opens up the VIP box.
Previously the corporate boxes had fixed glass with a speaker system to hear the match outside which didn’t allow the atmosphere closeness of the match and the boiling arena inside the box.
This is quite an improvement of the match experience, says Göran Carlsson, Sales Manager, Svalson also referring to Manchester Uniteds official staement.

2008-10-29 Grand opening of Svalson's new factory Anna-Stina Nordmark Nilsson, Managing Director of Swedish Federation of Private Enterprises (Företagarna) cut the ribbon and officially inaugurated on the 17th of October 2008 Svalson’s new factory for their “Lä” product lines; Café au Lä, Cit i Lä and Siläncio (read more here). She also awarded Svalson the recipient of “Årets Företagarkommun” as one of the driving forces that made Piteå Kommun the best in Norrbotten and 21st place in all of 288 municipalities all over Sweden.
Why Svalson as the recipient of this award? Anna-Stina justified Företagarna’s choice of Svalson because of the company’s unique performance of growth and expansion of new production lines and facilities despite the general atmosphere of financial uncertainties among Swedish companies this year.
The new factory is 800 sq m and is located next to the 2 500 sq m existing Svalson’s facilities.
